Ground-truth sampling campaign completed

During the last weekend, we took the opportunity of the proper weather window and availability of the IMOROS 2 research unit to conduct a ground-truth sampling campaign. The 100 samples (underwater videos, grab samples) were taken in various locations of the Puck Lagoon. Soon we will have their interpretation that will allow us to perform automatic benthic habitat mapping of this outstanding area.

In the meantime, we met with the archaeologists from the NCU pursuing diving archaeological prospections and underwater photogrammetry within the project.

Check out the wonderful photos from the survey!
